I have had the pleasure of working with Twin Trees, Inc. for several years, and it has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. I began my employment here as a DSP in 2018, and I quickly came to cherish the sense of family built between our teams of staff and the individuals we support. Everyone truly has a seat at the table, and that inclusive culture is something I deeply admire.
Every day at Twin Trees is a new adventure, full of possibilities and opportunities for personal growth. Each of the individuals we support has something valuable to teach us, and through working alongside them, I have learned powerful and beautiful life lessons that I will carry with me forever. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that every step toward growth matters and deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Being part of an organization that honors progress, values dignity, and supports individuals in reaching their fullest potential is work I am truly proud to do. It is my goal to take the smiles, resilience, and positivity of the individuals we support and reflect that same energy back to them, creating an environment where kindness and encouragement can continue to grow.
This work is more than a profession to our staff. It is a purpose driven by compassion, creativity, growth, and meaningful connection. First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to Twin Trees Inc.’s new website!

After working in Law Enforcement for 6+ years I found working for Twin Trees Inc. to be a breath of fresh air. Coming to work everyday and seeing the smiling faces of the individuals we serve is so rewarding. Working as a Program Specialist for 3 years with Twin Trees I learned the value of leadership and working together with program staff and DSPs’ for the common goal of giving our individuals the best life possible. These values remain true in my role as the CEO.

Our Program Director, Program Specialists, Nurses, Office Staff, and especially our DSP’s work tirelessly to provide the best quality of care to the individuals we serve. Placing a loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities into a community residential setting is never easy for a family. I can confidently assure families when meeting with them, to discuss placement, that Twin Trees staff will do everything possible to see that their loved one receives quality care everyday.

Incorporated in 1978, Twin Trees, Inc. is a non-profit that has been providing safe, compassionate and professional residential services to a diverse population. We presently operate seven homes in the Connellsville area. We are licensed to provide respite. A full-time R.N. and L.P.N. provide a wonderful umbrella of clinical knowledge to help us meet the needs of our medically complex and aging individuals. We have an amazing group of employees, highly trained men and women many with years of tenure, that truly demonstrate the core principles of the “Everyday Lives” doctrine every day. I am responsible for the Quality Management of our operations, the training curriculum and the regulatory oversight of the governing entities that fund our programs. I am a Certified Investigator, Certified Quality Management Professional, and completed the LifeCourse curriculum. Having been a Medication Trainer since 1989, I have a solid understanding of the importance of safe medication administration. Several years ago, I assisted three other agencies with the formation of our Human Rights Coalition and remain an active member. I was also a Crisis Prevention/Intervention Trainer for many years educating staff on safe ways to protect themselves and the people they support.

It is an honor and privilege every day to serve the people entrusted to our care, they are the reason I love my job so much. I have literally spent more than three decades at Twin Trees, Inc. starting out as a part-time Direct Support Professional on the weekends to a full time Direct Support Professional. In 1989, I was promoted to a Program Specialist and also managed an Independent Living Program briefly in another county before returning to Twin Trees, Inc. Being a Program Specialist for 34 years well prepared me to become the Program Director in November of 2023. I am a passionate advocator of human rights, inclusion, positive approaches and truly understand the need for honest collaboration.
