Open Positions

  • 40 hours (4 days/shifts vary)
  • Participates in a training program designed to develop the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes necessary to assist persons with ID and ID/A to live and function as independently as possible in the community.                                                                                                                                               
  • Assists in developing and implementing individual service plans to support persons with ID and ID/A to learn self-care skills such as cooking, grooming, toilet training, money management, and housekeeping while embracing the values and principles of Everyday Lives.
  • Support persons with ID and ID/A in developing social skills such as taking part in conversations, using technology, participating in home activities, assisting with employment and practicing good manners in dealing with people.                                                                                                             
  • Assists with or conducts, under supervision, recreational and social activities while teaching the process of determining the availability and use of community resources and facilities.
  • Maintains the residential unit in good condition in accordance with applicable fire and safety rules and regulations.
  • Must abide by state laws and regulations such as but not limited to 24 hours of in-service training, pre-employment and 2-year physicals and attend scheduled staff meetings.
  • Learns to maintain necessary administrative records and reports.

 

Direct Support Professional - Full Time

Direct Support Professional - Part Time

October 2024-2 positions

  • 20 hours (days/shifts vary)
  • Participates in a training program designed to develop the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes necessary to assist persons with ID and ID/A to live and function as independently as possible in the community.

Casual Direct Support Professional

  • Hours vary per site and this job is perfect for someone who can tell us when they are available!
  • An extra source of income—even 5 hours a week!
  • Always looking to welcome new casual staff
  • Same training requirements as Full & part-time staff
  • Same responsbility as the direct support professional. Refer to the listing above.
  • Casual Staff does not have to administer medication unless they choose to complete the Medication Administration course.
