We have been providing quality residential care to persons with intellectual disabilities since 1978.

We Are Twin Trees, Inc.

Nestled in rural Fayette County, Twin Trees, Inc. prides itself in offering residential services to persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Connellsville, Pa since 1978. We are a non-profit governed by a 11-member board of directors and a diverse professional administrative staff. We have dedicated and loving staff members including an R.N.,L.P.N., CNA’s and Direct Support Professionals many with years of tenured service. We provide wonderful opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities to strive to live their best life.

Teamwork is Our Motto

Collaboration is vitally important anytime we are supporting a person with intellectual disabilities. It takes an entire team to compile a comprehensive ISP that addresses all components of a person’s life. The circle of support necessary to help the people we support meet all the components of a well-rounded happy life is our main priority. We build an inclusive, passionate team comprised of family, friends, employers, providers, clinicians, professional specialty staff and county liasons. It is our goal to always support persons with intellectual disabilities to build a life filled with joy, choice, purpose and opportunities.

Twin Trees, Inc. is happy to announce all seven site coordinators have received Front-Line Supervisor accreditation through NADSP.

Twin Trees, Inc. recently supported the 2^nd Annual Celebration for Direct Support Professionals as a sponsor .

It truly was a great day for the DSPs, filled with information, resources and most of all laughter!

"My grandmother placed my uncle with Twin Trees in 2002 before she passed away and I am now his guardian. I have watched as my uncle has gained more independence and has shown that he can do more than we ever thought possible. He has grown and flourished in their care. As his guardian, it gives me great peace of mind to know that there are so many people who genuinely care about my uncle and want what is best for him. I can go to work knowing that all of his needs are being met and that he has everything that he wants that is good for him. Someday when I retire, I hope that I can spend more time with him and hang out more often, but until then I know that he is safe and well cared for and if there is ever any issue, they keep me informed. They treat him as family and even though he can be quite the story teller, all of the employees seem to be interested in his tales and have much patience in dealing with him. He truly loves many of the staff members who have worked with him and I can honestly say that this is the perfect placement for him."
