Twin Trees, Inc. welcomes new referrals when vacancies exist. While we understand that making a decision to place a loved one in our residential facility can be overwhelming we will remove the fear and replace it with compassion and love. It is critical for a person with a developmental disability to be established within their county base service unit so that they are being supported even before they may need residential services. We are certainly able to accommodate emergency placements when availability exists. We receive referrals from various counties and screen persons to support them in the best way possible. A person looking for residential services needs to have a psychological assessment and meet the following criterion: an intellectual disability that occured at birth, an IQ of 70 or below and at least three functional adaptive deficits. We will collaborate with counties and families to help untangle the sometimes complicated placement process ensuring a smooth transition for all. It is our policy to not discriminate any admission because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, or religion.
