Requirements and Admission Procedures

All individuals must be four years of age or older and verified to have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities at birth. Referrals  are made by the Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration, www.FCBHA.org, although initial contacts can be made directly through the agency. Please contact our Program Director for more information on vacancy status or admission criteria.

Twin Trees Inc. provides the opportunity for the individual to achieve his or her fullest potential  echoing the sentiments of "Everday Lives" which places primary emphasis upon teaching and developing basic living skills.  Services can include but are not limited to:

  -Assistance in the activities of daily living that support a person's personal and intellectual

   development focusing on the person first

  -Physical, medical and personal care

  -Recreation and socialization in the community

 -Supervision, personal safety skills and stranger/danger awareness

Services

Twin Trees operates a comprehensive array of services and support for people with intellectual disabilities including community residential services and community habilitation-based services in the Connellsville area of Fayette County.  Our homes are comfortable, well maintained, and provide a conducive environment for normal daily living experiences. Twin Trees Inc. professional staff who work directly in the home provide much of the basic living skills training.

A typical life in the general population includes:
